Go organic | Frequently Asked Questions

Is Go Organic! Available in my child’s school district?

Our lunches are available in hundreds of districts around the country. Contact your school to see if they are available. If not, please visit our sign up page and fill out the form so we can alert you when they become available.

How much does Go Organic! cost? How do I pay for it?

Prices vary based on the plan you choose, but you can expect to spend about as much, perhaps a few dollars more a month, as you do on regular school lunches—for much higher quality meals. You can have each month’s service automatically charged to your credit card, and you can cancel any time.

How is the food delivered and served?

At most schools, the delivery arrives in the late morning, and the meals are kept hot or cold using the school kitchen facilities. Your child will present his or her Go Organic! card in the lunch line and the lunch will be served on a tray—just like the other students. Each meal is labeled with the child’s name so there are no mixed up meals.

What grades does Go Organic! serve?

We serve lunches to children from elementary school through high school.

How do I choose which meals are appropriate for my child?

Your enrollment kit will include the first month’s menu options to choose from. Each month you will receive a new menu for your meal plan so you can make new choices. You may change your meal plan at any time, though there may be an additional charge depending on the plan.

Do you have to have meals delivered every day?

No. You can join our weekly plan to get started or if you like to make some meals at home.

How do I know what is in the meals that my child is getting?

Each month’s menu comes with complete nutritional information and ingredient lists.
